Today everybody shoots selfies with the smartphone, so why not doing one with the Minutera? But how to press the shutter? The lens I use doesn’t have a mount for a external cable release. Luckily my friend Alex visited me in Siena for three days. First we took a picture of him, then he assisted with the selfie. I placed him in front of the camera, adjusted the focus and he marked the spot with the empty beer bottle. I loaded the paper and took the place at the bottle. Alex pressed the shutter and I got my first „selfie“ from my Camera Minutera.
Heute nimmt praktisch jeder ständig Selfies mit dem Smartphone auf, wieso also nicht auch einmal mit der Minutera? Aber wie solle ich den Auslöser betätigen? Das historische Objektiv hat leider keine Aufnahme für einen Drahtauslöser. Zum Glück besuchte mich mein Freund Alex für drei Tage hier in Siena! Zuerst haben wir ein Foto von ihm gemacht, anschließend musste er mir assistieren. Ich positionierte ihn, stellte das Bild scharf und er markierte seinen Standpunkt mit der mittlerweile leeren Bierflasche. Ich legte noch Fotopapier ein, stellte mich an die markierte Stelle und Alex musste nur noch den Auslöser betätigen. Jetzt habe ich mein erstes „Selfie“ aus der Camera Minutera.
